Marcel Dionne - 5'8" 1348 games
Henri Richard - 5'7" 1256 games
Ted Lindsay - 5'8" 1068 games
Yvan Cournoyer - 5'7" 968 games
Dave Keon - 5'9" 163 lbs. 1296 games (301 in WHA)
PAt Verbeek - 5'9" 1424 games
Denis Maruk - 5'8" 888 games
Brian Gionta - 5'7" 776 games
Steve Sullivan - 5'9" 1011 games

Maybe my conventional thinking is wrong.
One thing to consider is that players have gotten bigger. John Ferguson the enforcer for the Canadiens at the time of the Pocket Rocket and Cournoyer was only 6' and 178 lbs. I like that there is room for the smaller player in hockey but we can't have too many of them.
