Keep in mind that over the 7 game series some hatred was formed between the teams and certain players. Buzzer sounds to end the series and minutes later you're shaking hands with the guy that had likely been saying just as derogatory things to you and is now moving onto the next round. That's gotta sting and I think it's understandable that Lucic was pissed off and said what he said.

keep the passion in the game. It really shouldn't be any harder than that. If everyone would just take a minute and think, keep the passion inside of this box, then we'd all be better for it. But no, some people can't seem to regulate their passion, and we are left plagued by this horrible situation that we find ourselves in. Because of what Lucic said, this sour milk thread is still in the fridge.
