I try to do that too, unfortunately the guy I sold it too then sold it to a kid that blew the engine and/or turbo. Half assed fixing it, I'm assuming it to be a different engine now which doesn't run right and leaks like crazy. I suspect a bent valve and looked like he even took out the oil pan once. Also replaced the nice expensive suspension I had with dirt cheap coilovers, gouged the $2000 wheels with numerous rock chips and curb rash, and now it's been through several different owners. The paint that I kept in mint condition now looks like crap. Faded, chipped, rusting.
It's like running into your best friend from school, only to find out that now he's addicted to crack and became an Oilers fan. Just absolutely heartbreaking.
Luckily the guy that has it now seems like a good kid who's fixed it up a bit again, and mentioned he wants to sell it soon so I'm considering buying it back.
