I'll say it again: no one's anointing this guy the next Gretzky. It should go without out saying that he makes some mistakes. He's 20 and fresh out of college. For me, that should go without saying.
What I'm getting at is very simple: His game is amazing for his age, and that's the reason you see a lot of excitement about it in a Flames forum. Watching his game playing with men in this tournament has been great, he's done something amazing every game. The good things to talk about far, far outweigh the bad. And for you or anyone else to come here with those few-and-far-between negative examples with the need to quiet everyone else down is a real drag. No one said he's perfect, but the exciting things are obviously going to be the focus in this thread. Coming in here with an agenda of pointing out the small infrequent mistakes is just strange. I really don't get why (even if you felt the need to repeat them) why you just can't comment and move on. You're honestly starting to sound like you have an agenda. His game isn't perfect. We get it. I really don't see the need to continue to point that out in the face of all these amazing things to talk about.
