The amount of mistakes he makes (and of course there will be some with his age and coming right from college) are far, far outweighed by his brilliant plays. It's not even close. To watch him this tournament and to come away from it with the things you're mentioning being the first items to bring up is really bizarre to me. But you're entitled to your opinion.

Go back and read my history in the game threads about Johnny before you call me out on being overly negative, that's BS. I first mentioned something about his faults when two or three of you jumped all over another poster for expressing his opinions on JG's play. I stand by everything I said, that's what I saw. I also have no problem with posters who see nothing but sunshine and rainbows when they look at Gaudreau, we are just fans of a sport anyways. However, I'm not going too shy away from pointing out the things he needs to work on to be successfull at the next level because of a few posters who are overly defensive when it comes to Johnny.
