What exactly has changed since then? I'm not buying any of that as if Richards was still in Calgary he would be doing the same bits. You came here out of the blue to tell us how ashamed you were to be part of it and now have backtracked to saying you are ashamed of a possible clip of you laughing at it. Yeah you would probably be fired for a "haro" comment on your show because that's not your schtick or what you were hired to do. Richards was hired by Kirsch to do an edgy show and you know I'm right here and you were a willing participant as nobody forced you to be a part of it. Coming out here and telling us you are ashamed of the show that you willingly participated in and collected a pay cheque kind of does a disservice to the other people involved, many of them still with 960 and it reeks of self-righteousness.
Things haven't changed nearly as much as you think as Russia is putting out anti-gay laws. You have a racist NBA owner kicked out of the league. You have a black guy like Maurice Price tweeting anti-gay stuff which is a minority being a biggot and that just goes to show that we aren't even close. Lots of work still to do and it's just not going to happen overnight or in a handful of years but lets be realistic of the line between edgy comedy and real racism.
