He put up 3 points, then has put up many scoring chances for other players, those would be points if he had a better teammate.
so I see no negatives. If he wasn't scoring OR making chances for his team then I would be worried.

The other day Chara coughed up the puck 3 times in one period.
All skilled players will do that because when you have the puck all the time it is bound to happen.
