But after watching him in both games so far at the WC I think he'll be just fine. He can stick handle in a phone booth and is super quick so players have a hard time getting a solid hit on him. He also has great vision, goes where they aren't. He'd also very good with his speed enabling him to strip opponents of the puck.

He brings a set of tool that only a couple of current players have (Cammy and Hudler). And my bet is that Cammalleri's gone this summer.

I like how he backchecks also. He comes at the player with the puck from behind at an angle at high speed. He cuts in front of him and takes the puck off of him or at least knocks it away from him. Because of the speed at which he does this the forward's weight and strength advantage are neutralized. You can see how Johnny has learned to use his strengths and minimize his weaknesses. What a smart player!
