In the seventh round, I wouldn't mind the Flames going with Tanner Faith instead. Watched him a bit with Kootenay and he'll be the go-to guy very soon for the Ice. Kootenay doesn't have a "stud" per se, so Faith being the go-to guy could be huge for his development. I won't say a late round steal, but he could actually become something in situation he's in.

Kinda hard to predict into the 7th, but I'd be interested in Ryan Mantha or Jacob Middleton. Mantha is a massive shutdown defence, something the Flames may need more of as the small-ish two-way defence seems filled out at the moment while Middleton is a high ceiling, all situation player who you want to covet so late: massively low risk, high reward. Given his limited exposure until this season I could imagine he is under the radar a little even if Konecny is drawing scouts to the 67's.
