Is the death pact a good townie strategy? I don't think it is. If you are town you should not knowingly kill town and advocating for your death is trying to kill town. When would a death pact work out in the towns favour? Only when the player is right. But since the player doesn't have 100% certainty instead of offering a death pact they should instead just try to pull people onto their side.

So for me the death pact is anti town and therefore not convincing. Why do you find it a good strategy?
