There's definitely a lot to like about Ehlers. Much grittier than people tend to give him credit for, in the sense that he never shies away from tough areas and isn't a perimeter player. Really high/consistent compete level and incredible hands/speed/vision.
I'm interested to see his height/weight at the combine, as the most recent figures I can recall have him up to 6 feet, 176lbs from 5'11, 162-65lbs at the beginning of the season. Size concerns could be somewhat overblown.
Almost certainly not a guy Flames would look at at 4 with three higher-end centers on the board, but damn. If they had pick 5/6/7 I would be beating the drum for Ehlers as well.
