I know points don't tell the whole story, but Reinhart put up 105 points in 60 games (1.75PPG) this year. For comparisons, here's the draft year totals of the last few 1st overall picks.
MacKinnon - 75 points in 40 games (1.70PPG)
Yakupov - 69 points in 42 games (1.64PPG)
Nugent-Hopkins - 106 in 69 games (1.53PPG)
Hall - 106 in 57 games (1.85PPG)
Tavares - 54 in 32 games (1.69PPG)
So, based on points and the fact that Reinhart has a very high hockey IQ and is said to be very responsible defensively, why is he not "good value for a 1st overall pick"?
