My favorite sandwich is my homemade beef dip...
I'll slow roast a nicely seasoned rib roast and slice it thin. Then I'll toss the thin slices into a simmering pot of onion soup, fresh pepper, rosemary, garlic and red wine. Then you pile that stuff high onto a lightly toasted baguette slathered in garlic aioli and provolone cheese. Dip in the roast juices or canned beef consomme (its wonderful with straight beef consomme).
Oh man... I gotta make these again soon.
