He also came up with "Littlefinger is going to kill Lysa soon", although I guess given his history that's not an unreasonable supposition.

In any event though, if there's a viable criticism to how the story has evolved it's that it's not as much of an adventure anymore but rather more of a historical epic (you're more worried about how Jon will be able to feed the wildlings on the wall as opposed to how Robb will manage to beat the Lannisters or whatever other fun rollicking quest might be happening).
