He has every reason to sugar coat the situation. The NLL is a minor league, and that does require something of an all-for-one attitude to thrive. Plus Vancouver is the second closest opposition market. It is a hell of a lot cheaper for the Roughnecks to fly into Vancouver (especially since half the players live there) than it is to take an extra trip out east, while a good rivalry could drive attendance up.

Vancouver says even with brutal on floor results and fan turn out they are still in a better place financially since moving back to BC.
