I thought he did kill the dog. He let him go before hand, but didn't he shoot him with the sniper after?

I like Bill Paxton on the show. I hope he sticks around beyond this season, though gut says he's offed in the season finale.

Ward's acting is growing on me.

Ward's acting is growing on me. Spoiler! He actually seems to play the hidden psycho thing pretty good. It really feels like he's battling his good-guy identity inside. Actually I was reading an article a while back that the writers didn't even tell him he was Hydra for the first half of filming.
