Something thats mentioned in the other thread is how old you are and how your prescription has changed in recent years. I never needed glasses till I was about 19, but even my prescription changed considerably between the age of 25 to 28 going from -1.75R -2.5L to -2.5R and -3.5L. I'm sure when I go for my next test later this year it will have increased a bit again since when I put on my wife's -.75 sunglasses on top of my contacts my vision feels perfect again. So even though I'm 30 my eyes are still changing.

I'm 21 but my prescription has been the same except for a VERY minor correction for at least the last 3 years, maybe 4.
