I am giggling because its the cartoon thats deluded. Not I. Its how Wildrose wants to see the situation. Again I wouldn't be terribly bent out of shape if they were right. But there is zero evidence to say they are. They are limited to their base more or less, there os nothing that they are doing that's endearing themselves to the larger public. PC's will win, Wildrose will keep their rural vote, I'll have a beer. Not in celebration, but because it'll just be another day.
Shoot, if the PC's did anything right the Wildrose wouldn't even be a argument. They're just a large protest vote in a province that knows its government is bad, but has no alternative.

My thinking is that the two last PC leaders have been so poor that it's worth giving another party a shot to see if they can do better. Even if the WR party is pretty meh for a term I can't imagine Smith being worse than the last two PC leaders. Another positive is that the PC has a term to get their act together rather than just put lipstick on a pig in Prentice and carry on with their arrogance and contempt for Alberta tax payers. The party has been on a decline since Klein's last term and they all need a timeout and re-set.
It's not that I am a big supporter of WR but I can simply no longer support the PC. I'd vote Liberal if I thought they had a better chance at winning but they don't so WR for me.
