Not arguing for or against fighting, but those who say it has no impact on the game don't have a grasp of the facts. The landscape of the NHL would be quite different without fighting. The Canucks quite possibly make the playoffs this year without fighting. The Sedins might already have four cups. Maybe the game would be better without fighting, maybe it wouldn't, but it would be changed.
