I voted for the order that I am hoping it will happens. Ekblad, Bennett, Draisaitl, Reinhart and Dal Colle. I can also handle this order Ekblad, Reinhart, Draisaitl, Bennett and Dal Colle. Or I am hoping for the Oilers to goes out of the way and pick a player who is not even in the Top 10 list.
I don't follow much of these young guys so I don't pretend I know who is the best player amongst the Top 5. I just thought Florida might go after a defenseman and pick Ekblad. Or they might pick one of the Sams so I am not sure. Buffalo with the second pick I think will definitely pick one of the Sams especially if Florida pick Ekblad. I would think they might go after Bennett as from what I heard he plays very similar to Doug Gilmour. Edmonton definitely is looking at a defenseman so if Ekblad is available, they wouldn't think twice about it but this is the Oilers so you never know. I am hoping they leave one of the Sams alone for the Flames pick. Like I said you never know what the Oilers will do. They might pick one of the Sams knowing the Flames are very much interested in one of them, then later on trade them somewhere for a couple of young talented roster defensemen.... just to make the Flames mad. I am hoping to see the Reinhart brothers (Max and Sam) playing together for the Flames but I will settle for Bennett as well.
