Happy to see an up-and-comer, not an old guard guy, not a recycled ex-Flame (or ex-Oiler hah!) brought in.
The Flames need new ideas, a new approach and new energy to reinvigorate their management team. They have part of that with Connie; Burke is the "guiding mentor" to keep things steady and Treliving sounds like a perfect fit.
Time will tell, but he's been fairly successful so far -- hope he proves to be a great hire for the Flames!
