I haven't paid much attention to Nylander in the past several months, but based on the high praise he has received of late, I was surprised to see that he has been playing in Sweden Division 1 and 2, and has not yet played in the SEL. I see that there are progressively more kids being drafted out of these juniour leagues, but historically the best Swedish players have always played in the SEL in their draft years.
