Seriously? Are they going to be using 1920s,30s,40s,50s technology over the next few decades looking for this plane? Sure there's a chance it will never be found but the reason the Titanic spent 70 years undiscovered was because for the bulk of that time there was no adequate technology to search properly. A really odd analogy.
