Feaster got garbage for Bouw with a year and a half if his deal left. If Burke gets a 3rd for Cammy it continues the reputation that started with the Phaneuf trade and lasted through the entire Feaster regime. The Calgary Flames give players away for very little.
Burke played the cards that most GM's would. The market is highest at the deadline not 3 months before. This season is the first one in years where it was a buyers market. Teams were not getting top picks or prospects for rentals. He mentioned he lowered his price but it was too late.
