Yeah, as a whole I look back on Feaster's (brief) time as GM as a VERY positive time for the organization. He did a lot not only to help dig the franchise out of the hole, but built up and modernized the way the team is managed as a whole.
There are things that will always sting. I like the draft picks he got for Bouw and Iggy - but I don't think the prospects in those deals are anything but replacement, low-level players (time will tell though). I'd sooner he had drafted Maatta + Sieloff rather than Jankowski + Sieloff, not because of what Jankowski is or isn't, but because of what Maatta is already.
Even with his warts, I'd still be comfortable if Feaster was our GM right now.
