Sure every city has problems, but when it comes to racism within the nightlife perspective, Calgary is by far the worst. It may never go away, your right, but for some odd reason, it is tolerated more here than anywhere else. Which is sad in itself. As long as there are people out there that continue to say things like "deal with it", this city will continue to be viewed in a negative light when it comes to racist views.
There are some of you out there that dont care to head to the clubs, but unfortunately there are those out there that want to party in a club like atmosphere, and not a pub. I can handle being in a club, lounge or pub, but some others may like the club atmosphere. Sure there are morons in the club, wanna bees, etc, but there are those that like to dance, drink, etc. Clubs are the only venues that allow such to occur.
