The trade isn't for Poirier it is for the 23rd pick and what that normally gets.
A trade isn't better because the scouts do a good job picking.
If I trade Crosby for a 7th the deal isn't good because that 7th breaks all of Gretzky's record.
Stop using Poirier as a reason the Blues trade might work out.
