If your Asus Router has all the ports you need (e.g. 4 ports on the switch plus 1 coming from router), then bridging the router will be your best bet.

This disables all the routing functionality on the modem/router combo (including wireless), and you will connect your Asus router to one of the ports on the modem/router combo. The other ports on the modem/router combo cannot be used for anything.

If that won't work, you may be able to configure your Asus router to act only as a switch, which will do what you want. Without knowing the interface, it is hard to suggest what to look for. You could try googling your Asus router model number and a guide for "disable routing", "disable gateway", "act as switch" or the like.
