Last year the BPA was MacKinnon by the end of the year in the minds of many.
This year the BPA looks to be Ekblad in the minds of many and Reinhart is no MacKinnon.
Also last year was a bit of a strange situation with a new coach who had management input being hired out of the QMJHL after having coached against MacKinnon/Drouin. I'm sure Roy had a great deal of input on that pick.
