Really doubt that posting lyrics about megadeath on Facebook has anything to do with the events that happened later that day. I find most people like posting lyrics and song names to show what music they like, and to "sound deep", that's about it.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that the type of music he listens to caused him to do what he did, but to me at least the Facebook post is a pretty clear reference to what his feelings were. The lyrics were obviously relevant to what he was thinking at the time.
I think that people post lyrics because they coincide with their personal thoughts, and sometimes it's easier or more profound to express your feelings through lyrics that closely resemble how you're feeling rather than trying to think of a deep or philosophical statement on your own.
