I think we'll be in the 8-10th place in the conference. Monahan and Buckland will continue to improve and Brodie and Giordano will be our anchors on defense. Take into account the growing pains our goaltenders went through at the beginning of the year and how Ramo improved dramatically in the past few months, I think we'll be better next year but not quite ready for playoffs.

I also think that Gaudreau has the ability to be a game changer, and I hope he is, but I'm worried about his size/weight and how he holds up over an 82 game schedule. If he can avoid injuries, I think he can be our 'poor man's' Patrick Kane... but that might be after some seasoning in the AHL adjusting to the pro game.

I think Gaudreau and perhaps what we do with our 1st round pick this year (draft or trade) will be the 'X' factors for next season.
