When you're training these regardless if you put on additional weight it's pure muscle mass and strength, you're going to be simple bigger, faster, and stronger, and even more agile because of increased ability to create tension to turn and absorb.
I always cringed when people say getting bigger makes you slower, yes, if you're putting it all on in body fat. The more I lift, the bigger I get, the faster I get. Unless you pass a natural genetic threshold with drugs.

I don't know what this means. But what I'm saying is I haven't seen many skaters who can stop, turn, and accelerate like Johnny was doing tonight. Is that from natural talent or because he's 50+ lbs lighter than most of the guys on the ice? I'm sure it's a combination of both.
What I was saying is that his game has obviously (to me, after one real viewing) evolved to take advantage of his smallness. As long as he's not physically victimized, his game should be effective. He's just quicker than everyone else out there.
It's a weird balance. It's exciting to watch partially because it seems like he could break in half if really leaned on.
