Look at all the fastest sprinters in the world, their legs are HUGE. Marathon runners have tiny legs.
Training fast twitch 2a & 2b, which are both prone to hypertrophy will always make you bigger and faster.
When you're training these regardless if you put on additional weight it's pure muscle mass and strength.
You're going to be simply bigger, faster, and stronger, and even more agile because of increased ability to create tension to turn and absorb.
I always cringed when people say getting bigger makes you slower, yes, if you're putting it all on in body fat. The more I lift, the bigger I get, the faster I get. Unless you pass a natural genetic threshold with drugs.
