Do you like to give your boss credit for the job you do too? GM's set organizational scouting philosophies so if you wanna credit Feaster for doing that or getting the analytics program in you can. But to suggest he was somehow active in picking Gaudreau? That just doesn't seem likely at all. GM's usually don't overrule their scouts on any pick outside the first round.
Let's give credit where credit is really due. To Tod Button and his scouting staff. He's done a pretty good job in the last few years.
