I think those rankings are purely based on size, and a little bit of draft position bias. Fourth rounders are typically safer for "experts" to underrate.
Also, the Heisman is not the same as the Hobey Baker. While some Hobey Baker winners go on to have great NHL careers, there are many who do not. The college system for football and basketball is the main developmental avenue in those sports for pre-professional prospects so obviously their best players are closer to the professional scene.
