This kind of success has been going on much longer than just "late season".
Since the line brawl in Vancouver in mid january (which was clearly a catalyst for the club to become a "team"), they have played well over .500 hockey...almost half the season.
Clearly this team is not quite a contender at this point and wont be next year either, but they really aren't as far away as one would have thought at the beginning of the season. Its not like a bunch of stuff just started going right for them all of a sudden, this team has worked for everything they have received. As long as they keep the practice and work ethic going they have learned this year, they are well on their way to a quick turnaround.

How much of this "late success" came off the end of Cammy's stick?
Player progression is not linear and virtually non of the rookies minus Monahan played close to a full season.
A lot would have to go right for the flames to even match this year IMO
