However, Hayes IS worth that now. Probably more. I would much rather have Hayes than a late 1st in this year's draft.

I think I will go with the late first this year. It is probably because I have a hard time seeing his offense translate into the NHL level, so for now I see him as a third line RW with size. Which makes him a great investment if the price is right. However, I am not an expert and I could very much be wrong...
