The thing is that the could televise every Saturday Night Leafs game and still get the same amount of viewers and advertising dollars but they went a step further in making every Coaches Corner into "Cherry, Ron, and the Leafs". They went way overboard and like I said I feel bad for the regular people that will lose their jobs but I don't feel sorry for HNIC or CBC at all as they turned a national program into a Toronto program and destroyed it in the process.

The Habs were on more often nationally when the Leafs stunk it up. Coaches Corner was Cherry and the Leafs for six years before MacLean took over from Hodge. Hodge kept Cherry in check.
