Does this mean the death of the Report?
Fallon is doing a good job of making the Tonight Show more in the vein of the old variety shows with an emphasis on comedy bits or musical bits that make good social media clips. Does that translate to bringing viewers to the actual show to raise ratings for television advertisers? I don't know. Most younger people probably just watch the clips on the Youtube channel.

The Report is dead.
