Some of us on a different NHL forum have proposed that the NHL change it's point system. We suggested this:

Regulation win= 3 points
Overtime Win= 2 points
Overtime Loss= 1 point
Regulation Loss= 0 points

It would create more incentive for a regulation win. Thoughts?
