Was it based on the premise of "what's wrong with it"? I think it was based on the issue of equal rights, which you have no problem with.
The "what's wrong with it" stuff is nothing more than after-the-fact message board fodder and it wasn't the basis of the decision made in the HofC.
If people want to start rallying for the right to marry their dog, dad or Siamese twin, let them fight their own battles. Same-sex marriage has nothing to do with that stuff.
