I think Michael Enright fits into the category you've described, but I actually think a lot of the programming caters to a younger audience these days (Q, DNTO, The Debaters, etc.). And rather than close-mindedness, I hear just the opposite in most shows, and I'm pretty quick to be bothered by things like that. Honestly, it's a cliche, but it really does get me thinking and keep me informed.
