Default Kris Letang to Play His First Game After Suffering a Stroke

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=7...id=DL|NHL|home

Kris Letang returning to the lineup after a stroke on the 29th of January.

Started practicing with the team on the 17th of March after he was taken off the blood thinners.

"[My family is] scared, but at the end of the day we made sure with the doctor that I wasn't running a risk going out there," Letang said. "I just made sure they understood the situation. I had some doctors talk to my family to reassure them.
"I'm nervous. It's been a long time without playing, but about my situation, not at all."

Happy to see him back playing. I now think this is the guy that deserves the Masterson Trophy. Having a stroke is serious business... To be able to come back in a couple of months is amazing. I hope he plays well tonight. Just in time for the playoffs Kris, stay well.
