Eau Claire Tower, now that's a box that belongs in Quarry Park.
I believe reason Eau Claire Tower looks so "conventional", is that inside it will be probably one of the nicest and most functional buildings in Calgary. the lead tenant MEG has made this a priority in their new building.

I have talked to people in corporate real estate and honestly Bow style buildings are awful functionally, as the footprint is hard to fit people into, configure, and maintain efficiently. Plus folks I know in the Bow say the interior is nothing to write home about.

I know that isn't the point of this thread, but a lot of these vanity projects are not great ideas overall from what I have been told. Look at how much office space Cenovus is leasing after they built the Bow. Was the point to centralize their staff or build something cool for 2/3 of the company, and investors to look at?

I guess for me, I am glad companies are building these types of towers, but I am glad I work for one that isn't, and spends it on making my full day better tangibly.
