You maybe be right but you have to take everything into consideration. He's 19 years old, playing against the highest competition he has ever played against in the NHL, in his rookie year, where he saw a fellow prospect get sent down to improve his defensive game. That's a lot to put together. He's not going to be trying his dangles or creative plays cuz he wants to be safe for now. With time comes more confidence, maturity and more freedom to make a mistake or two.

He will be a first line player and likely a franchise player for the Flames.
