Just took a quick peek at cap geek and next year's numbers. Assuming a $69.5mil cap. This based on the numbers available now, not really looking at if the team needs Cammy or not.
Avalanche have $23mil in cap space next season and 18 players signed. Some of that will be eaten up by O'Rielly and Stastny. Assuming a very conservative combined cap hit of $14 million for O'Rielly and Stastny, that gives them $9mil to play around with. They were also rumored in trying to move out PA Parenteau so that might give them some more $ depending on the return.
Ducks have $22 million in cap space next season and 17 players signed. They should be able to sign Cammalleri and fill out the rest of their roster with decent players.
If the Blues fail to sign Miller and Ott they would have plenty of cash floating around.
Going to the more bubble playoff teams, the Wild may have the space if they can't re-sign Moulson and Vanek gets too expensive.
Blue Jackets management are reportedly unhappy with Umberger - ESPN has him as a potential buyout candidate. If they move him out, they could fit Cammalleri.
So yeah, there are teams that could fit him in, but the question is will they want him with those demands.
