He's respected among Calgary's developers because he wants to do nothing more than spend as much money as he can on building new roads and infrastructure. That's not to suggest that a city growing as fast as Calgary doesn't need to upgrade and add new roads, etc. But the city's purse is not as cash strapped as Bronco would have us believe. Calgary city council has a spending problem, not a revenue problem.

His complaining is starting to get old though and he needs to turn it down a few notches. If thats all he does then the people in power will start to get tired of him.
It has happened already. He could get a meeting with Shirly M before the last provincial budget but Edmontons mayor had no problem.
