I like the messages that Burke is sending and it's consistent with the team culture you want at the start of a rebuild. Seems obvious but:

1. Why would we want a player who would rather live and play elsewhere?
2. Yeah you have to fight for a spot on the roster. As a rebuild team, that keeps incoming high-end prospects from being lazy and entitled.

Maybe someday, if all goes well we'll look back at the booster seat jokes and pass em off as tough love.
