argh i hate being pulled into this topic, but i have to ask.
Let's say he doesn't sign at the end of his current season and goes back to finish up at BC. I have read that he will be a UFA if Calgary doesn't sign him before AUG 1st. I have read that this differs from the Shultz situation, in that he was a UFA on Jul 1st. Is there really any difference in their situations and the amount of flexibility the have when they hit their ufa date?
