It would be nice to see him hit a ppg next season, but I'm happy with steady progression. Thing that I find with college sports is that it's a lot more structured because the talent is spread so thin so coaches have to make adjustments for the team to be competitive, and a lot of the adjustments are having a strong structured team. The schools that get the talent can be a little more free wheeling, but a school like Providence needs that rigid, Sutter'esque structure.
Sounds weird but I expect Janko's offensive game to open up more once he hits pro, mostly because it is a faster, more creative game. It'll probably be a year or 2 after he turns pro, though once he gets accustomed to the speed and the and pace, he develops the confidence much like we are seeing in Colborne, then I can see a solid top 6 forward in him easy.

This is why I thought if his body could take it that it may not be a bad idea to turn pro, get a couple seasons in Abby to let his offence develop. I just don't want his offensive skills to be stunted playing at Providence. They play a defence first game, which isn't bad given their lack of offensive skill and superb goaltending, but will it slow his offensive abilities development? I just don't know if playing there any longer is the best for his development.
